What is SPEBlox 100M?

SPEBlox 100M is a compact, 100Mbps Ethernet (100BASE-T) to Single Pair Ethernet (100BASE-T1) converter in a tiny (30mm x 30mm) form factor, designed for direct integration into space-constrained networks. SPEBlox 100M is fully mechanical and footprint compatible with SPEBlox 1G, meaning it is suitable as a direct replacement when 100BASE-T1 is needed.

SPEBlox 100M functions as a transparent bridge between 100BASE-T and 100BASE-T1, working out the box without any software configuration. This allows easy access to 100Mbps Single Pair Ethernet networks from standard two-pair 100Mbps (100BASE-T) ethernet networks. 

SPEBlox 100M is able to achieve 40 meters transmission range on 28AWG twisted pair cable.

Single Pair Ethernet and Auto-negotiation

Unlike standard ethernet (10/100/1000BASE-T), Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) generally doesn't support auto-negotiation. This means that it generally isn't possible to mix and match devices that use different speeds of SPE. This is why we supply a range of SPE hardware which supports all SPE speeds.
