Extended Temperature Range 10G Copper SFP Module
The 10G copper SFP module is a high-speed networking device designed for reliable and efficient 10Gbps data transmission over RJ-45 copper cabling with an operating temperature range from -40°C to 80°C. This module is fully compatible with UbiSwitch and UbiSwitch Baseboard and allows the 3 SFP ports to be converted to a 10GBASE-T copper interface.
This module features an advanced Marvell Ethernet PHY that enables it to transmit data up to 30 meters over standard Cat6a cabling, making it ideal for use in drones, robots, and other industrial environments. Its hot-pluggable design allows for easy installation and replacement without the need for system downtime, ensuring maximum uptime and productivity.
This module is not a BotBlox original design, however we worked directly with the manufacturer to define the components on the BoM to achieve a wider operating temperature range than commercial grade SFPs. Following this redesign, we then fully tested this module for low and high temperature operation according to MIL-STD-810H.
This allows us to release a rugged, qualified wide temperature range 10G SFP that is ideal for achieving 10GBASE-T in harsh environments.
Compatibility with other BotBlox Products
SFP-10G-T is a 10G only SFP. That means it only works with 10G capable SFP cages.
This means SFP-10G-T is compatible with UbiSwitch the associated baseboard, UbiSwitch BaseBoard.
SFP-10G-T is not compatible with GigaBlox SFP. This is because GigaBlox SFP only supports 1G SFPs.
