What is SPEBlox Module?

SPEBlox Module is a tiny, embeddable, PCB mount module that converts between standard gigabit ethernet (1000BASE-T) and gigabit single pair ethernet (1000BASE-T1).

This module handles all the conversion, software, firmware and physical requirements necessary to make the conversion between the two ethernet types. This allows system integrators to effortlessly add 1000BASE-T1 (Automotive Single Pair Ethernet), with minimal work and in minimal time. 

SPEBlox Module uses similar circuitry as SPEBlox, meaning engineers can quickly test using SPEBlox, then move to the SPEBlox Module for higher volume applications.

At 30mm x 22.8mm, SPEBlox Module is small enough for integration into size and weight limited applications. SPEBlox Module uses castellated holes for direct, low-cost, low profile integration. Standard 0.1" (1.27mm) pin headers can also be used for board mating.

SPEBlox Module is also NDAA compliant, with a supply chain and manufacture location based outside of China.

Availability

SPEBlox Module now tested and verified, and will be available to ship by the end of August.

The SPEBlox Module Evaluation Kit design files can also be found under the "Technical Documentation" tab. These design files can be used as a design reference.

SPEBlox Module contains no components on the bottom layer, meaning it there is no need for a standoff height between it and the board below.
